Myth:Windshield replacement is always necessary.
Fact: Whether or not your windshield needs to be replaced depends on the severity of the damage. In many cases, our team will be able to repair the crack or chip and preserve your existing windshield.
Myth: DIY windshield repairs are effective.
Fact: If your windshield is damaged, you should bring your vehicle to auto glass specialists like those on our team for assessment. Only trained professionals have the right knowledge and experience to determine whether your windshield can be repaired or if you will need windshield replacement services.
Myth: It’s 100% safe to drive with a damaged windshield.
Fact: If your windshield gets damaged, we encourage you to drive as little as possible until you can have your vehicle assessed by our auto glass experts. Even small cracks can weaken your glass to the point where it needs to be replaced, but in other cases we can patch the cracks with urethane to reinforce the damaged area.
