Our Technicians Have Undergone Training In ADAS Calibration
However, it’s also important to understand that the presence of these advanced features impacts the automotive repair process. Sensors and cameras are built into various components of the vehicle, and those must be properly calibrated after a repair has taken place. For example, if you have your windshield repaired or replaced, the technicians must know how to perform ADAS calibration to get the systems up and running once again. Failure to calibrate the system could result in an inaccurate reading from one of the sensors or even a full system shutdown.
At McConnell Auto Glass, we understand the importance of ADAS calibration. Our technicians are certified through the Auto Glass Academy and have undergone training in ADAS calibration. When performing a windshield repair or replacement service on a vehicle that includes any or all of these safety features, we make sure to take care of the calibration to ensure the safety of the driver and passengers after they leave our shop.
Depending on the make and model of your car, we’ll advise you about whether we will handle this service in our shop or on-site. We’ll be able to tell when we look up your VIN number in our system. If you’re located in or near Zebulon, North Carolina, you can count on our experienced and knowledgeable technicians to take care of your auto glass needs, as well as the ADAS calibration service as part of the job.
At McConnell Auto Glass, we offer ADAS calibration in Raleigh, Garner, Clayton, Fuquay-Varina, Wake Forest, Knightdale, Cary, Holly Springs, Apex, Morrisville, Durham, Zebulon, Wendell, Youngsville, and Rolesville, North Carolina.
